The treatment areas will then be marked with a specialized surgical pen to ensure targeted filler application. Prior to injection of the filler, the surface of your hands will be numbed with a topical anesthetic cream for thirty minutes. Once the hands are sufficiently numbed, Dr. Khorasani will strategically inject the filler using a thin cannula (a blunt, hollow tube) via a single insertion point. Since the cannula is blunt, he can safely deposit the filler around the veins and tendons without causing any injury to them.
