BodyTite® and AccuTite® are part of a family of new subdermal cutting-edge technology introduced to the aesthetic surgery arena for skin tightening of the body. They are probes of various sizes that are inserted under the skin’s surface to heat the skin from beneath, and stimulate cells to produce collagen.
This device comes with a variety of attachments and settings that allows it to be used to target different anatomical areas. The BodyTite probe is the largest in the family and targets areas like the stomach, back, buttocks, arms, and thighs. Accutite is the smallest probe and is used to tighten skin in more delicate areas such as the lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, and jowls.
Both treatments are considered minimally invasive and have the ability to tighten and lift desired areas of the body without having to undergo an invasive surgery. The technology uses RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) energy in order to heat the dermis in a precise and controlled fashion, stimulating cells to produce new and healthy collagen. This is a wonderful option for patients who desire skin tightening without having to undergo an invasive surgery.

FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia and light sedation that tightens and lifts the skin without having to undergo an invasive surgery. The device uses RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) to provide controlled heat to the skin of the face. The radio-frequency energy, sometimes combined with liposuction, works to melt fat and tighten the skin. This non-invasive procedure is the closest result to a surgical neck lift, with a fraction of the downtime.
Renuvion (J-Plasma) is a non-surgical skin tightening device that utilizes radiofrequency energy to produce helium-derived plasma in order to help remodel the skin. When administered beneath the skin’s surface (subdermally), the precise heat from the plasma serves to immediately contract the skin and initiate long-term collagen synthesis. This results in smoother, firmer skin quality and skin that adheres more closely to the underlying fascia. This heating process is analogous to traditional laser technology, such as laser lipo, that is used subdermally to heat the dermis and build collagen. The main benefit of plasma energy over laser use is the narrow field of energy that is produced by plasma. This newer technology results in more precise heating, less collateral damage to the surrounding tissue and fewer adverse side effects. The production of new, healthy collagen serves to maintain the immediate skin tightening effects for several years following treatment.
Please note that Renuvion (J-Plasma) may also be applied to the superficial skin to mildy enhance elasticity while simultaneously erasing signs of aging like discoloration, fine lines, and deep wrinkles.
